JobTarget has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles of Notice, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Choice, Security, Access, Recourse, Enforcement and Liability, and Accountability for Onward Transfer. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern.

JobTarget may collect information about you in different instances: (1) when you provide information to us; (2) when you visit our websites/mobile applications/etc.; and (3) when you interact with third-party solutions/websites/applications that contain our technology (4) we may be provided it from third parties.

You may elect to register on one of our websites for the purpose of using our website, searching for a job, applying for a job opening, posting a job, or for other reasons. JobTarget builds technology that is designed to provide analytical data and statistics to employers that post recruitment advertisements through JobTarget's distribution channels. That means you may interact indirectly with JobTarget technology when you apply for a job online, for example.

JobTarget may collect, retain, use and pass along data and statistics to our customers and partners. Our technology collects information from visitors, including job seekers, employers, recruiters, and advertising agencies to track the performance of job postings delivered through our platform, among other things.

Additionally, JobTarget develops technology to improve the job search and application processes. Our technology is often imbedded in third party systems, including Applicant Tracking Systems, job boards, job search sites, and other technologies that facilitate job search and recruitment. If you are NOT an existing JobTarget user, JobTarget may choose to collect data and save it in a user profile which does not have a specific user identity, although the identity of the user may become known to JobTarget at a future date. If you have interacted with and/or registered with JobTarget in the past, we may collect further information through these systems, as you use these third-party services.

How JobTarget Uses Information We Collect

Connecting Job Seekers and Employers

JobTarget collects personal and non-personal information to perform the service of matching job seekers with potential employers. Our goal is to provide a beneficial and positive experience for all parties using our services. By utilizing our services, you have agreed to allow us to use your information, subject to applicable law, in the following ways: (a) to create a profile for you based on information you have provided to us and information we have developed or collected from third parties; (b) to provide information about you to employers, recruiters, jobseekers, or other third parties; (c) to provide information about an employer and their recruitment advertisements to job seekers or other third parties; (d) to provide information about jobseekers to employers and recruiters or other third parties, (e) to provide information about job seekers and their application habits to employers or other third parties; and (f) to contact you regarding opportunities, changes to your profile, service updates, products and services you may be interested in, surveys, sweepstakes and various other communications regarding our products and services.

Providing Data to Employers and Third Parties

JobTarget uses personal and non-personal data to conduct various measures of job posting effectiveness, accuracy, posting locations, business intelligence regarding the placement of job advertisements, the content of job advertisements, and the conversion of users from viewing a job advertisement to submitting a completed job application for an open position, job seeking trends, etc.. This information may be analyzed and used to generate statistics and to determine use patterns and effective recruitment and job search strategies. Our goal is to provide a beneficial and positive experience for all parties using our services by developing deep insight into the process of matching jobseekers with employers through the right job advertisements. In cases of onward transfer to third parties of data of EU individuals received pursuant to the EU-US Privacy Shield, JobTarget remains liable.

When and How we Disclose Information

JobTarget primarily generates its revenue from facilitating the flow of information between and among employers and job seekers. JobTarget may also provide personal information to other third parties for advertising related purposes. You may elect to opt out of promotional communications sent to you by JobTarget at any time. If you are an employer or agency who uses JobTarget's technology to post an advertisement to a third-party job listing site, your contact information may be shared with the operator of that third party.

JobTarget may disclose your personal information to, and in cooperation with, law enforcement officials on receipt of a valid court order.

JobTarget makes reasonable efforts to provide you reasonable access to any of your personal information we maintain within 45 days of your request which you can submit at We provide this access so that you may review, correct, amend, or request deletion of your data.

If JobTarget is unable to process your request within 45 days, we will tell you when we are able to provide access. We may be unable to grant you access, where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to the privacy of the individual in the case in question or where the rights of persons other than the individual would be violated.

IMPORTANT: Any information by which you can be personally identified, such as your name, physical address, e-mail address and/or phone number and/or other content that you voluntarily disclose to our services may become available to the public and may be accessed, used and stored by others. Cookies, Web Beacons and LSOs / Flash Cookies

JobTarget uses cookies for your convenience and security. Cookies are text files stored on your computer. The cookies remember information that you've already typed in our web site fields, among other things, so you don't have to enter them again. JobTarget may also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Data submitted as part of a job interest or application shall be retained indefinitely by JobTarget and the employer/recruiter. In the event of a merger or acquisition of JobTarget, all data will be transferred to the new entity.

Any use of the site following the posting of any new or modified privacy agreement constitutes your acceptance of the modified agreement.
