| General Description | The Center for Male Engagement (CME) empowers underrepresented male students to thrive academically, professionally, and as leaders. Open to all Community College of Philadelphia students, CME fosters a supportive community that values students’ unique experiences while providing personalized coaching, academic support, career exploration, personal development, mentoring, and culturally responsive programming designed to improve retention and academic success. As a key contributor to this mission, the Support Coach designs, implements, and coordinates a comprehensive range of student support services. These include case management, academic support, career and leadership development, life skills training, and cultural enrichment initiatives. The Support Coach provides individualized coaching, develops innovative programming aligned with CME’s goals, and ensures students are equipped with the skills and confidence to navigate college successfully, achieve their educational goals, and contribute meaningfully to their communities and the workforce. |
