| General Description | Reporting to the Vice President, Business and Finance, the Associate Vice President, Accounting and Controller provides leadership and effective management in: General Accounting, Fixed Assets Accounting, Grant Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll. The AVP is responsible for overseeing the preparation of the College’s annual financial statements in accordance with GASB reporting standards; coordinates all financial, governmental and compliance audits; and supports the implementation and effective use of financial systems in College operations and in financial and management reporting. The AVP provides oversight and supervision to direct reports. |
