Your Typical Day:

• Demonstrate and uphold Goodwill Southeast Georgia’s mission, vision, and values in all aspects of your work.
• Work closely with site leaders to advance operational efficiencies and effectiveness, focusing on Donated Goods best practices.
• Collaborate with supervisors and managers to develop, implement, and execute on-site training requirements.
• Monitor and ensure timely and consistent completion of training modules through existing tracking systems.
• Assess standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure alignment between training and actual performance.
• Issue weekly updates and reminders to operational leaders, ensuring adherence to the training curriculum.
• Partner with supervisors to identify training gaps and ensure availability of resources for on-site implementation.
• Conduct hands-on field training in areas such as donation acquisition, production & pricing, customer service, and register operations.
• Oversee all aspects of assigned development programs, including pre- and post-work, coaching, and tracking progress toward course objectives.
• Assist in the design, development, and delivery of training materials and programs.
• Provide regular updates on content, materials, and other relevant information post-program completion to ensure continuous learning.
• Develop a strong understanding of processes across all operational areas.
• Actively engage with operational leadership to assess and advance training initiatives.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support operational success and team development.
• Contribute to Goodwill's mission through the advancement of training, development, and education efforts.

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• 1-3 years of experience in training or development within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback and effectively convey information.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Passion for learning and development, with a desire to help others succeed.
• Understanding of performance metrics and data analysis.
• Knowledge of standard office equipment and business applications, including PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions for various locations.
• Strong initiative, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Willingness to travel to various locations as required.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and the ability to be insured under the company’s vehicle policy.
• Frequently lift up to 20 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull up to 50 pounds using equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Visual acuity for tasks such as depth perception, peripheral vision, and distinguishing basic color.
• This role requires the ability to work in an unstructured environment with minimal supervision, where adaptability and initiative are key.
