Operating Room Nurse

Position Summary

• Ensuring the delivery of safe and quality patient care
• Perform, adapt and safely demonstrate procedures required by patients according to policies and procedures
• Administers medications accurately and safely
• Documents according to policies and procedures Performs, demonstrates and documents technical skills specific to the nursing unit

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• Active, valid NJ Registered Nurse license
• ASN or Nursing diploma required, BSN preferred
• BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association required
• One year Operating Room experience

Scheduling Requirements

• Day shift 40 hours per week
• On-call and weekend requirement
