The Patient Service Representative is responsible for performing assigned duties in accordance with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care while supporting the organization’s mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities

To serve as a communication and information resource for patient services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, referral intake, scheduling, insurance verification and registration. Ensures that all potential patients of the hospital are dealt with in a caring and empathetic fashion while involved in the admissions process, while protecting the medical, financial and legal interests of the hospital.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
