Client Services Representative - Plymouth in Laconia, New Hampshire at Lakes Region Mental Health Center

Lakes Region Mental Health Center is the community mental health center serving Belknap and southern Grafton Counties. We provide services to 24 surrounding towns, and nearly 4,000 patients each year. A non-profit, private corporation founded in 1966, Lakes Region Mental Health Center is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors dedicated to our mission.

We are looking for a dynamic, person centered Customer Service Representative! If you have a drive to help others, can work in a team environment and strives for excellence, we want to talk to you. This position sits in the business office in our Plymouth, NH office with a multidisciplinary team on site, occasional coverage responsibilities at the Laconia location as needed.

Essential Responsibilities

• Confirm health insurance details and accurately record information in the electronic health record system.
• Conduct intake appointments with patients to review and clarify administrative paperwork and financial obligations.
• Process internal referrals for additional services as required.
• Discuss account balances with patients as appropriate.
• Establish patient payment plans and collect outstanding balances.
• Provide assistance to patients regarding their questions concerning insurance benefits.
• Respond to client statement inquiries.
• Primary assignment is at the Plymouth office, with occasional coverage responsibilities at the Laconia location as needed.

Education/Qualifications
Minimum of High School Diploma with experience in a medical setting (preferred).

Skills/Abilities

• Strong telephone and organizational skills are a must.
• Familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate with peers,
• work independently as well as on a team and
• multi-tasking skills are essential.
• Experience working in an electronic health record is a plus.
• Must excel in handling high stress situations, as well as the ability to deal with all types of personalities.
  

Salary

This position has an hourly rate of $19.75/hour
