If you are detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and motivated by meaningful work with vulnerable populations, this role offers the opportunity to make a real difference every single day.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact and warmly welcome, register, and support patients throughout their visit
- Manage provider schedules and coordinate appointments to ensure smooth clinic flow
- Verify and update patient demographics, insurance, and eligibility (including Sliding Fee Discount Scale)
- Collect co-pays and fees in compliance with policies and regulations
- Coordinate interpreter services, transportation, and other visit-related supports
- Answer and triage incoming calls with professionalism and compassion
- Address patient concerns and escalate issues when appropriate
- Maintain accurate medical records and protect confidential health information
- Support clinic operations, including supplies and cross-site assistance as needed
- High School Diploma or GED

- Strong data entry and computer skills and customer service and communication skills
- A compassionate, respectful approach to working with vulnerable populations
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation for occasional travel between sites
