Position Title: MSW Program adjunct faculty

Adjunct instructor for MSW Program--Play Therapy Certificate Program needed for one or more courses on a semester-by-semester basis. This posting is for online asynchronous instruction, and potentially hybrid teaching position, the candidate selected for the position must reside in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Carolina, Texas, South Dakota, Washington state, Wisconsin, or Wyoming after acceptance of employment.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

The ideal candidate will

• demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching future play therapists in the MSW program
• actively participating in curriculum design and development and review for the new Play Therapy Certificate
• work with the MSW Program leadership in fulfilling Play Therapy cognate and certificate expectation
• maintain compliance with Association for Play Therapy standards for curriculum, field placement, and assessment.

Required Qualifications:

• a Masters level Social Work License
• at least two years of post-MSW professional experience
• a Registered Play Therapist Certification with the Association of Play Therapy
• high degree of interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency & diversity

Preferred Qualifications:

• experience with online education
• successful teaching experience in social work education
