Role Overview
Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for helping enterprise clients embrace unified commerce? We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our team, reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, you will focus on closing high-value deals with enterprise accounts, delivering D2C, B2B, and retail solutions that leverage the full capabilities of Shopify.
You will lead the entire sales process—from building initial relationships to deal closure—while collaborating with Shopify account executives and presenting solutions that integrate D2C, B2B, and retail into a single Shopify environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Cycle Ownership & Deal Leadership
- Own the full end-to-end sales cycle, from initial discovery, working with Teifi Solution Engineers to solution, through contract negotiation and close.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deals with high commercial impact.
- Identify expansion, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Conduct product demonstrations tailored to unified commerce, including Shopify POS, Teifi’s proprietary tools, and custom B2B and D2C solutions.
- Gather client requirements and work with the Solutions Engineering team to create and present tailored proposals.
Enterprise Client & Partner Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with enterprise-level clients and stakeholders.
- Proactively prospect and qualify net-new enterprise opportunities, independently and in partnership with Shopify.
- Work closely with Shopify Enterprise and Large Account AEs, including Digital and Retail teams in co-selling motions.
- Support joint account planning, and partner-led growth initiatives.
- Present the value of Shopify’s unified commerce approach, emphasizing D2C, B2B, and retail integrations.
Reporting & Delivery Alignment
- Report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, providing clear visibility on:
- Pipeline health and progression
- Revenue forecasts and confidence levels
- Deal risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans
- Track sales activity and performance against agreed KPIs and targets.
- Maintain a clean, accurate CRM, capturing deal context, stakeholder insights, next steps, and commercial assumptions.
- Own the handover process from sales to delivery, ensuring a seamless transition post-close and providing context for a successful implementation.
- Stay engaged through project kick-off and early delivery phases to support momentum and client confidence.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience managing enterprise accounts, with a focus on high-value deal cycles.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of unified commerce, including D2C, B2B, and retail business models.
- Familiarity with Shopify’s ecosystem and the broader eCommerce or retail technology landscape.
- Experience with outbound sales and managing inbound sales flows.
- Ability to gather, document, and present client requirements effectively.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

The pay range for this role is:
100,000 - 150,000 CAD per year(Vancouver)
