Job Description
Growth Marketing Specialist
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada · Marketing
About Us:
Operto helps hospitality teams deliver seamless guest stays, run more connected operations, and capture more of the value behind every stay.
Built on smart access, in-unit controls, and connected devices, Operto connects the systems, workflows, and teams behind the scenes bridging the physical and operational layers of hospitality. From guest access and in-stay experience to task management and team coordination, we help operators reduce friction, stay aligned, and operate more efficiently at scale.
We’re designed to work with the tools that are already in use, acting as a flexible layer that connects various tech stack rather than replacing it giving operators more visibility, control, and consistency across the guest journey.
Now, we’re building on that foundation.
With Operto ONE, we’re introducing new ways to support operations through intelligent automation helping teams respond faster, reduce manual work, and strengthen direct control over the guest experience and the revenue behind it.
As hospitality evolves, our focus remains the same: simpler operations, better coordination, and helping operators deliver great stays while keeping more of what they earn.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Specialist who knows how to take an idea and turn it into something real. Live campaigns, shipped work, and measurable impact.
You’ll work directly with the Head of Marketing to bring campaigns to life across email, web, social, webinars, and events, owning execution and helping shape how marketing operates as we grow.
This role is best suited to someone who thrives across channels, enjoys hands-on work, and takes ownership of getting campaigns out the door. If you enjoy taking the lead and bringing ideas to life from concept to launch, we’d like to meet you.
You’ll take campaigns from idea to launch to follow-through, with real ownership over how they come together.
This role works best for someone who is comfortable switching between tasks, managing details, and keeping things moving without needing a lot of structure.
Build and execute campaigns across email, web, social, webinars, and events
Create and launch emails, landing pages, and supporting assets
Work with agencies and internal stakeholders to get campaigns out the door and performing
You’ll also focus on what happens after someone engages:
Build simple, effective nurture flows for downloads, webinars, and events
Ensure leads are followed up with and not left sitting
Improve how we convert interest into pipeline
And help keep the day-to-day engine running:
Manage newsletters, blog publishing, and social distribution
Support webinars and event execution
Keep campaigns organized, on track, and moving
Campaigns launch consistently and without friction
Marketing activity feels connected across channels
Leads are followed up with and converted
Content gets used, reused, and drives results
Marketing contributes meaningfully to pipeline
You’re a campaign builder, not just a strategist
You take pride in shipping amazing work without layers of approvals
You’re comfortable working across multiple channels
You can build emails, landing pages, and campaign assets independently
You’re organized and able to manage multiple moving pieces
You take ownership and move things forward
Experience & Tools
3–5 years of experience in demand generation, B2B growth, or campaign execution
Builder mindset: you thrive on launching and improving, not endless planning
Experience executing multi-channel campaigns end-to-end including event marketing.
Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar tools, including building emails, workflows, and campaigns
Comfortable publishing content and building landing pages in a CMS
Collaborative and growth-minded: able to take high-level direction, learn quickly, and translate ideas into execution.
Strong writing across email, landing pages, and social
Experience using AI tools to support marketing workflows. Bonus if you’ve experimented with or built workflows, automations, or agents using AI tools
A strong eye for design: you don’t need to be a designer, but you know what looks good and feel confident working in Canva to pull together high-conversion assets.
Familiarity with marketing attribution and reporting (especially around SQLs and pipeline)
Self-sufficient, responsive, and excited to move fast without red tape
