We are currently looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead our Sales Department. This is a key leadership role responsible for building a high-performing team, driving results, and ensuring consistency in both process and customer experience. Role Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dealership’s new and used vehicle sales departments. This includes leading and developing the sales team, driving performance to achieve targets, maintaining strong process discipline, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

This role requires a balance of leadership, accountability, and operational execution. The successful candidate will be actively involved on the floor, supporting deals, coaching in real time, and ensuring the team is consistently performing at a high level.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental targets
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing sales professionals
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and accountability
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, ownership, and continuous improvement
Sales Performance & Process Management
  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance
  • Monitor key metrics including closing ratios, lead response times, and pipeline activity
  • Ensure consistent execution of the sales process across all team members
  • Be actively involved in deal structuring and closing support
Customer Experience
  • Ensure every customer interaction reflects KTRV’s standards of professionalism and transparency
  • Address and resolve customer concerns or escalations promptly and effectively
  • Reinforce a customer-first approach while maintaining strong business outcomes
Inventory & Strategy
  • Work closely with the GM on inventory management, pricing strategy, and merchandising
  • Ensure inventory is positioned effectively to meet market demand
  • Support marketing initiatives and promotional strategies to drive traffic and sales
Collaboration & Profitability
  • Partner with the Finance & Insurance team to maximize deal profitability
  • Ensure a seamless handoff between departments
  • Maintain strong communication across all areas of the dealership
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Track, analyze, and report on sales performance and key metrics
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement actionable solutions
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and brand standards
Qualifications & RequirementsRequired
  • Minimum 2 years of automotive sales management experience (or equivalent leadership role)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and hold a team accountable
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Assets
  • Experience in truck and/or RV sales environments
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, dealership management systems, and digital sales tools
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute sales strategies
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret data and drive results
