This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and client delivery, overseeing the successful execution of complex enterprise commerce projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams responsible for designing and delivering high-performance Shopify-based solutions for globally recognized brands. Acting as both a delivery owner and strategic advisor, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards. The role requires close collaboration with executive stakeholders, product leaders, and engineering teams across multiple engagements. You will shape delivery methodologies, optimize operational excellence, and continuously improve how enterprise eCommerce solutions are built and launched. This is a highly impactful position in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where autonomy, ownership, and innovation are core to success.
In this role, you will oversee end-to-end delivery operations for enterprise commerce projects, ensuring alignment between client expectations, technical execution, and business outcomes. You will lead cross-functional teams composed of technical architects and product owners, driving high-quality Shopify implementations and migrations while maintaining strong governance across timelines, budgets, and scope. You will define delivery best practices, improve execution frameworks, and ensure consistent standards across multiple concurrent projects.
- Own and manage the full delivery lifecycle for Shopify-based commerce projects, ensuring quality, scalability, and timely execution
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, including technical architects and product owners, fostering accountability and high performance
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk mitigation across multiple client engagements
- Guide enterprise-level Shopify implementations, platform migrations, and system integrations (ERP, OMS, CMS)
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients, building strong relationships with senior and executive stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes, Agile practices, and operational frameworks
- Ensure alignment between technical solutions and client business objectives while resolving escalations effectively
- Support governance, reporting, and performance tracking across all delivery pipelines
This role requires extensive experience in enterprise delivery, eCommerce platforms, and technical leadership, particularly within Shopify ecosystems. You should bring a strong blend of technical understanding, client-facing experience, and team leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of delivering complex digital commerce solutions in fast-moving environments.
- 10+ years of experience in project delivery, product management, or software engineering, with strong eCommerce exposure
- Deep expertise in Shopify Plus, including integrations, custom development, and enterprise migrations
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale, multi-stream delivery portfolios
- Strong understanding of software architecture, SDLC, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid)
- Experience with ERP, OMS, CMS, and third-party system integrations (e.g., NetSuite, Sanity, Manhattan)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging executive-level clients
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and organizational capabilities in fast-paced consulting or agency environments
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on problem-solving when needed
