Virtual Programs Specialist

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Virtual Programs Specialist in Canada.

This is an exciting opportunity for an organized and strategic event marketing professional to take ownership of a growing virtual programs ecosystem. In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of webinars, workshops, executive sessions, and virtual events that drive audience engagement and business growth. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will create scalable processes, enhance attendee experiences, and leverage data to continuously improve program performance. The position combines operational excellence with strategic thinking, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, managing complex projects, and identifying opportunities for innovation. In a remote-first environment, you will play a key role in shaping high-impact virtual experiences while helping the organization scale its digital engagement efforts.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of webinars, virtual events, workshops, executive sessions, and other digital programs.
  • Manage program logistics from kickoff through completion, including scheduling, registration management, speaker coordination, agenda development, and event production.
  • Develop and maintain essential program assets such as project plans, briefs, presentation materials, speaker preparation documents, and operational templates.
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Content, Creative, Social Media, Operations, and other stakeholders to align program objectives with broader campaign goals.
  • Ensure production readiness through platform configuration, technical testing, dry runs, troubleshooting, and day-of-event support.
  • Oversee attendee operations, including registration tracking, communication workflows, audience engagement, and post-event follow-up processes.
  • Monitor project milestones, identify risks proactively, and implement solutions to keep multiple concurrent programs on schedule.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to measure registrations, attendance, engagement, pipeline contribution, and overall program effectiveness.
  • Analyze event performance data and provide recommendations to improve formats, targeting strategies, audience experiences, and program outcomes.
  • Create scalable workflows, documentation, playbooks, and best practices that improve efficiency and support long-term growth.
  • Lead post-event reviews and retrospectives, synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in event marketing, virtual events, program management, campaign operations, or a related B2B marketing function.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Proven success executing webinars, virtual events, workshops, or digital engagement programs from planning through reporting.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience coordinating speakers, stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with event management platforms, CRM systems, marketing automation tools, reporting solutions, and project management software.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience using event and campaign data to evaluate performance and recommend improvements.
  • Ability to identify operational challenges, develop solutions, and proactively communicate risks and recommendations.
  • Experience creating templates, documentation, processes, and systems that improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across remote and cross-functional teams.
  • Interest in automation, AI-powered tools, and emerging technologies that enhance workflows and event experiences.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-focused marketing programs, executive audiences, audience segmentation, or campaign follow-up strategies is considered an asset.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package with a salary range of $98,000–$147,000 USD.
  • Equity participation opportunities.
  • Performance-based bonus program.
  • Fully remote work environment with flexibility across North America.
  • Opportunity to contribute to high-impact marketing initiatives that drive business growth.
  • Collaborative and inclusive company culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Access to professional development and career growth opportunities.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies, automation tools, and AI-driven workflows.
  • Flexible work arrangements that support work-life balance.
  • Opportunity to work alongside talented cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Comprehensive total rewards package designed to support employee well-being and long-term success.
