This role is focused on supporting full-cycle accounting operations within a modern cloud-based accounting environment.
You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and smooth day-to-day accounting processes.
The position plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity through reconciliations, payables, receivables, and tax-related activities.
You will contribute to month-end and quarterly accounting cycles while supporting more senior accounting professionals on complex tasks.
A strong emphasis is placed on working with cloud accounting tools and delivering high-quality service to a diverse client portfolio.

- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping activities including bank and credit card reconciliations and daily transaction processing.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Process GST, PST, HST, and payroll remittances on a monthly or quarterly basis in compliance with Canadian regulations.
- Maintain and monitor bank feeds and support continuous financial data accuracy across accounting systems.
- Assist in month-end and quarterly closing activities, supporting senior accounting technicians and accountants.
- Prepare and support financial reporting, reconciliations, and basic financial statement analysis.
- Ensure accurate and organized financial records while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping roles.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Currently working toward a Canadian CPA designation (asset).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
- Experience with cloud accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and/or Xero is highly valued.
- Knowledge of Canadian sales taxes (GST, HST, PST) is an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

- Competitive salary range of $55,000 to $60,000 CAD.
