Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for Management Consultants (WMC) based in Canada.
This role offers a unique consulting model where experienced professionals operate as independent practitioners while being supported by an established national consulting brand.
You will have the autonomy to build and manage your own consulting practice, while leveraging a strong reputation, shared resources, and a network of senior peers across the country.
The position is designed for seasoned consultants who want to combine entrepreneurial freedom with the backing of a collaborative and respected firm.
You will engage directly with clients on complex strategic, organizational, and transformation initiatives that drive measurable business impact.
Rather than a traditional employee structure, this role empowers you to shape your own portfolio of work and relationships.
It is an environment built for high-level professionals who value independence, influence, and long-term practice development.

- Lead complex client engagements in areas such as strategy, organizational design, change management, and operational improvement.
- Build and maintain strong executive-level client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with other senior consultants on cross-functional projects and shared client work.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions to diagnose challenges and shape solutions.
- Design and deliver high-quality consulting outputs, including reports, frameworks, and strategic recommendations.
- Contribute to business development through networking, referrals, and leveraging the broader consulting ecosystem.
- Share insights, methodologies, and expertise with peers across the national consultant network.
- Manage project delivery autonomously while ensuring client satisfaction and measurable outcomes.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in consulting or senior leadership roles across private, public, or not-for-profit sectors.
- Proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives or transformation programs.
- Strong expertise in areas such as strategy, organizational development, change management, culture, or process improvement.
- Excellent executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and build a client portfolio.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with motivation to grow and manage a personal consulting practice.
- Strong research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working directly with senior executives and leadership teams.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining high-quality delivery standards.
- Full autonomy to build and manage your own consulting practice.
- Opportunity to work under a respected national consulting brand.
- Collaboration with a network of experienced senior consultants across Canada.
- Access to shared tools, methodologies, and business development support.
- Flexible work arrangements, including remote work and client-site engagement.
- Opportunity for long-term leadership and potential equity participation based on contribution.
- Group benefits plan and pooled professional liability insurance.
- Exposure to diverse, high-impact strategic consulting projects.
- Entrepreneurial model with strong peer support and collaboration.
