Job Description

Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Technical Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Technical Consultant based in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of consulting, solution architecture, and hands-on technical delivery, focused on transforming customer engagement capabilities through Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable CRM solutions that improve sales, service, and operational efficiency. The environment is highly collaborative, blending advisory work with deep technical implementation across enterprise systems. You will play a key role in designing integrations, configuring Dynamics 365 CE modules, and enabling end-to-end digital transformation initiatives. This position offers strong exposure to Azure, APIs, and modern Microsoft cloud technologies in a delivery-focused consulting setting. It is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems with configurable, low-customization solutions that deliver measurable impact.

Accountabilities:

You will act as a key technical advisor and implementer, supporting clients in designing and delivering Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform solutions aligned with business goals, including:

  • Leading requirements gathering workshops, process mapping sessions, and fit-gap analysis with stakeholders
  • Designing, configuring, and implementing Dynamics 365 CE solutions across Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and related modules
  • Developing and enhancing applications using Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI
  • Designing and supporting integrations between Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure services, and third-party systems using APIs and connectors
  • Configuring workflows, business rules, security models, dashboards, and forms within Dynamics 365 environments
  • Supporting data migration, solution deployment, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), and post-go-live stabilization
  • Providing troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and best-practice recommendations to ensure long-term solution success
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong Dynamics 365 technical consulting experience combined with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including:

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and/or Power Platform implementations
  • Hands-on expertise with CE modules such as Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, or related applications
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and system designs
  • Experience with Power Platform tools including Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
  • Knowledge of Azure integration services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and API-based architectures
  • Experience working with REST APIs, system integrations, and enterprise data models
  • Familiarity with customization tools such as C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Dynamics web resources
  • Understanding of ALM, DevOps practices, Agile delivery, and CRM security frameworks
  • Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills in consulting environments
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field
Benefits:
  • Comprehensive benefits package available from day one
  • Retirement savings plan (RSP)
  • Flexible work environment supporting work-life balance
  • Paid training and structured career development opportunities
  • Exposure to enterprise-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure projects
  • Opportunities for career growth, internal mobility, and continuous learning
  • Inclusive, collaborative, and team-driven work culture
  • Access to modern Microsoft cloud technologies and innovation-focused projects
