  • Drive the execution of project workstreams, ensuring high-quality delivery, stakeholder alignment, and achievement of engagement objectives
  • Conduct assessments of NERC compliance programs, internal controls, and operational processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements
  • Support business development activities by cultivating client relationships, identifying opportunities, and contributing to proposals and presentations
  • Collaborate with internal experts and client stakeholders to design and implement compliance strategies and operational enhancements
  • Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and advisory materials to senior client and executive audiences
  • Support regulatory audits, fact-finding exercises, and risk analysis initiatives tied to critical infrastructure and reliability standards
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants while ensuring consistent quality across deliverables
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant post-graduate experience, or Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience
  • Strong background in the electric utility sector, with deep knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards in Canada and/or the United States
  • Experience working with or within regulatory bodies such as NERC, ISO, Regional Entities, utilities, or compliance monitoring organizations
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, operational compliance, and critical infrastructure protection
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities in fast-paced, client-facing environments
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to deliver executive-level presentations and written reports
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to regulatory detail
  • Strong relationship-building skills and experience working with senior stakeholders and industry partners
  • Ability to travel within Canada and/or the United States as required
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and currently residing in Canada
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with senior advisory and leadership roles
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Flexible work arrangements with opportunities for remote and onsite client engagement
  • Exposure to high-impact projects within critical infrastructure and national energy systems
  • Professional development opportunities, including leadership growth and technical specialization
  • Opportunity to work with senior industry stakeholders and influence regulatory and cybersecurity practices
  • Collaborative, expert-driven environment with strong mentorship and knowledge-sharing culture
  • Travel opportunities across Canada and the United States
