Job Description

Director of Client Partnerships

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Client Partnerships based in Canada.

This is a senior strategic leadership role focused on owning and expanding high-value enterprise client relationships across complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers, translating client business priorities into scalable partnership strategies and measurable outcomes. The role blends strategic account leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring successful delivery of large-scale workforce and transformation programs. You will be responsible for driving renewals, identifying expansion opportunities, and strengthening long-term client value realization. Operating at the intersection of strategy, delivery, and commercial growth, you will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and impact. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments and excels at turning client needs into structured, high-impact solutions.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise client relationships, serving as the primary strategic partner and executive liaison.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies that align client objectives with delivery outcomes, renewal planning, and expansion opportunities.
  • Lead executive-level engagements, including business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and value realization discussions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional internal teams (delivery, product, operations, analytics, and sales) to ensure seamless execution of client programs.
  • Identify and proactively manage risks related to adoption, stakeholder alignment, delivery performance, and renewal health.
  • Drive revenue growth through renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and expansion of existing enterprise partnerships.
  • Translate client goals into actionable roadmaps, success metrics, and structured program plans.
  • Monitor account health metrics, including engagement, impact, satisfaction, and business outcomes, to inform strategy and intervention.
  • Build scalable account management practices, including frameworks for stakeholder mapping, value measurement, and executive reporting.
Requirements:
  • 8–12+ years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise client success, consulting, business transformation, or complex program delivery.
  • Proven track record of managing high-value enterprise relationships with accountability for both delivery outcomes and commercial growth.
  • Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted executive-level relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, compelling business narratives.
  • Demonstrated experience driving cross-functional alignment without formal authority in matrixed environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in renewals, expansion strategy, and account growth planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining focus on long-term account success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Experience in workforce development, education, AI, SaaS, or technology-enabled services is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and seniority.
  • Remote-first flexibility with collaboration across distributed teams.
  • Unlimited paid time off and company-wide holiday breaks.
  • Comprehensive benefits package (health, wellness, and insurance support depending on location).
  • Opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise transformation and workforce development initiatives.
  • Access to continuous learning and professional development programs.
  • High-impact role with direct influence on client outcomes and organizational growth.
  • Inclusive and mission-driven culture focused on diversity, equity, and belonging.
