This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Service Representative, T&O based in Canada.
This role sits within a dynamic operations and shared services environment supporting investment and operational functions across the business.
You will be responsible for executing a wide range of service, transaction, and data management activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong adherence to operational controls.
The position plays a key role in maintaining service quality, supporting stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution of day-to-day financial and operational processes.
You will handle data validation, reporting, reconciliation, and issue resolution while working within defined service level agreements and regulatory frameworks.
The environment is structured, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.
You will also contribute to process improvements and support the implementation of operational changes and system enhancements.
This is a role where precision, accountability, and client service directly support business integrity and performance.
- Execute day-to-day service operations, including transaction processing, service requests, and data handling in accordance with established SLAs and operational guidelines.
- Collect, structure, and analyze data to produce recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Perform verification, reconciliation, and validation of information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve operational issues, escalating complex cases when required while maintaining service continuity.
- Support stakeholders by providing accurate and timely responses to internal and external inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain effective working relationships and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Contribute to the design, improvement, and implementation of new processes, systems, and operational enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to risk frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements while executing daily responsibilities.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members when needed and assist in handling complex service requests.
- 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in operations, shared services, financial services, or a similar environment.
- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of business processes, operational controls, and financial or service transaction workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to work with reporting and data tools.
- Good understanding of risk management principles and regulatory requirements in a financial or operational context.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues and determine appropriate next steps.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to clarity and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, structured environment.
- Customer service mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
