This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Program Manager based in Canada.
This role plays a key part in supporting and coordinating healthcare programs that ensure patients receive timely access to treatment and services.
You will be responsible for overseeing assigned program activities, maintaining accurate case documentation, and ensuring consistent adherence to established protocols and service standards.
The position involves close collaboration with internal teams, healthcare stakeholders, and external clients to support smooth program execution and delivery.
You will contribute to monitoring program performance, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting operational enhancements across systems and processes.
The environment is structured, fast-paced, and highly detail-oriented, requiring strong communication, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
You will also assist with reporting, training support, and continuous quality monitoring to ensure service excellence and compliance.
This is a hands-on coordination role where your work directly supports the efficiency and integrity of healthcare program delivery.
- Maintain and oversee assigned territory caseworker responsibilities, ensuring consistent and accurate program execution.
- Monitor adherence to protocols, documentation standards, and data accuracy across electronic and physical case files.
- Ensure quality and consistency of client communications, including phone interactions and ongoing program updates.
- Participate in client consultations and working sessions, supporting the manager and acting as backup when required.
- Identify training needs and support the development or delivery of refresher training in collaboration with management.
- Support hiring and onboarding processes, including training and integration of new team members when needed.
- Identify opportunities for system, process, and database improvements to enhance program efficiency.
- Prepare and deliver client reporting while ensuring timely and accurate information sharing with stakeholders.
- Support daily program operations, communications, and issue resolution across assigned projects.
- Report adverse events and ensure compliance with all required escalation procedures.
- Assist the manager with operational tasks, workload balancing, and program coordination activities.
- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industries.
- Experience in program coordination, healthcare operations, or project management is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and resolve operational issues effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team-based environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems, processes, and operational requirements.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
- Experience in healthcare program environments and familiarity with pharmaceutical distribution is an advantage.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand operational and client service impacts.
- Competitive salary range: $60,800 – $93,610 CAD
