This role sits at the intersection of clinical expertise and product quality, ensuring that software used in radiation oncology billing and coding performs with accuracy, reliability, and clinical integrity. You will play a key role in validating product releases that directly support cancer treatment workflows across global clinics. Working in a fully remote, mission-driven environment, you will collaborate closely with product, engineering, success, and support teams to identify issues, refine functionality, and enhance user experience. Your deep clinical background in radiation therapy will be essential in translating real-world workflows into robust testing and validation practices. - Lead quality assurance testing for product releases, ensuring accuracy, stability, and readiness prior to deployment across clinical environments.
- Perform verification and validation testing of radiation oncology billing and coding workflows to ensure clinical and operational integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, customer success, and support to troubleshoot issues and optimize clinic implementations.
- Provide structured feedback and recommendations to improve product functionality, usability, and clinical workflow alignment.
- Create, maintain, and enhance documentation, testing protocols, and validation materials to support scalable QA processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying product gaps and supporting enhancements based on real-world clinical usage.
- 5+ years of experience as a clinical medical dosimetrist or radiation therapist with hands-on treatment planning and delivery expertise.
- Strong background in plan validation across multiple radiation therapy techniques and modalities.
- Deep understanding of radiation oncology billing workflows, reimbursement structures, and clinical documentation requirements.
- Experience in quality assurance, product testing, or software validation is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate clinical and technical concepts for cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently while engaging effectively across distributed teams.
- Open to learning new technologies and contributing to the improvement of healthcare software systems.
- Competitive salary range of $120,000 – $160,000 USD plus potential milestone-based bonus eligibility
