This field-based commercial role sits at the intersection of science and customer engagement, supporting the growth of innovative immunology therapies across Southwestern Ontario. You will be responsible for building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and delivering high-impact scientific messaging aligned with brand strategy. The role requires strong autonomy, as you will manage your own territory while collaborating closely with cross-functional medical, marketing, and regional teams. You will leverage both in-person and digital channels to ensure consistent and meaningful HCP engagement. Working in a fast-evolving, science-driven environment, you will contribute directly to improving patient access to advanced therapies. In this role, you will be responsible for driving territory performance through strategic engagement with healthcare professionals and execution of brand-aligned initiatives:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HCPs by delivering up-to-date scientific and clinical product information in line with brand messaging
- Develop and execute localized account plans based on market insights and performance data
- Achieve sales and engagement objectives by consistently communicating the value proposition of immunology therapies
- Collaborate with medical and cross-functional teams to support regional programs and healthcare provider needs
- Utilize multiple engagement channels, including in-person visits, virtual interactions, and approved digital tools to maximize reach and impact
- Provide clear and proactive reporting on territory performance, market trends, and field insights to leadership
The ideal candidate brings strong pharmaceutical sales experience, scientific credibility, and the ability to operate independently in a dynamic environment:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a specialty pharmaceutical representative
- Proven track record of territory management and achieving performance targets
- Experience engaging healthcare professionals across multiple communication channels
- Strong understanding of account-based selling and commercial execution in pharma or biotech
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving “start-up style” commercial environment
- Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within the territory
- English proficiency required (additional languages an asset depending on region)
