- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in a consultative sales or business development role, with a proven track record of success in driving growth.
- Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail; capable of managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
- Self-starer with entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to strategically leverage available resources to achieve results.
- An engaging, charismatic personality capable of adapting to various pursuit/owner/broker/financier styles.
- Analytical and adaptive, with the ability to objectively assess both successful and unsuccessful engagements and pivot strategies as needed to drive continuous improvement.
In this role, you will
- Act as a key driver of business growth by leading new third-party management business development efforts.
- Proactively identify, monitor, and pursue new opportunities, including new developments, underperforming assets, and properties currently on the market for sale.
- Lead underwriting and financial analysis for Class A multifamily developments and on-market acquisition opportunities in the Phoenix and Las Vegas markets.
- Maintain and regularly update a CRM system to accurately track ownership information and business development opportunities.
- Design and implement innovative strategies to engage and build relationships with key decision-markers across the multifamily industry.
- Lead and coordinate internal discussions related to new and pending business opportunities, ensuring alignment across departments.
- Manage a comprehensive calendar of all proposal submissions, presentations, and pitch meetings to ensure timely follow-up and execution.
- Analyze and interpret internal data to inform and support the company’s ongoing investment strategy, leveraging visual tools such as charts and graphs where appropriate.
- Develop a deep understanding of property operations, financial performance, and overall investment strategy to inform business development initiatives.
- Establish and maintain a consistent outreach routine with industry stakeholders, including brokers, lenders, attorneys, and developers.
- Foster a continuous learning mindset and entrepreneurial approach to staying current with trends and innovations in the multifamily industry.
- Support the growth of the consulting business by delivering institutional-grade presentations, analyses, and recommendations with established timelines.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the portfolio development team by setting clear performance expectations, providing ongoing coaching, and fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
