Job Description
Katsam is scaling fast. With continued expansion across multiple states and a growing portfolio of services, we’re building the financial infrastructure to support it—and we’re looking for someone early in their career who wants to grow with us.
This is not a “sit in a lane and do one thing” role. You’ll get exposure across the accounting function, learn how the business really operates, and build the kind of experience that accelerates your career.
If you’re detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to take on real responsibility, this is a place where you can develop quickly.
What You’ll Do- Support key components of the monthly and year-end close (journal entries, accruals, adjustments)
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and help ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist with financial reporting and maintain clean, reliable data
- Partner with finance and operations teams to understand how work gets done in the field
- Support audit preparation and special projects as the company grows
- Step in across AP/AR as needed to keep things moving
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- 0–3 years of accounting experience (internships included)
- Foundational understanding of accounting principles (GAAP exposure a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.) is a plus
- Accountable – You take ownership, even when you're still learning
- Dependable – You follow through and take deadlines seriously
- Team First – You ask questions, collaborate, and support others
- Positive Attitude – You stay solution-focused, especially when things get busy
- Be part of a company in active growth mode (organic + acquisitions)
- Gain exposure across accounting—not just one area
- Learn directly from experienced leaders and build real-world skills
- Opportunity to grow into larger roles as the company scales
- Competitive compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 (based on experience)
- Want to learn quickly and take on more responsibility over time
- Are comfortable asking questions and figuring things out
- Take pride in accuracy and catching details others miss
- Can handle a fast-moving environment that’s still being built
- Are looking for a long-term opportunity, not just your next job
If you’re early in your accounting career and want a role where you’ll actually learn, grow, and contribute—this is it.
We’re not looking for someone who has seen it all—we’re looking for someone ready to build.
