TM Supply is currently looking for a Payroll Coordinator. This full-time role provides administrative support to the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the company. The major areas of responsibility include payroll coordination across multi-state locations and schedules, paid time off tracking, onboarding, timesheet auditing, benefit deduction management and submittals, compensation and incentive program entry, system training with other users, policy education and enforcement, and HR regulations compliance.
Requirements:Responsibilities:
- Promotes positive employee relations by designing, communicating, and interpreting human resources policies and programs.
- Helps build and sustain a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Coordinates and processes payroll for all company locations and schedules.
- Processes compensation changes, promotions, bonuses, and incentive programs.
- Inputs new hires and coordinates onboarding training with their supervisor.
- Coordinates the off-boarding process and communication of findings to management.
- Analyzes data, prepares reports, and makes recommendations on a variety of payroll items. Including all employee earnings and deduction codes.
- Responds to inquiries regarding payroll policies, check details, payroll procedures, and incentive programs.
- Responsible for inputting and auditing the benefits deduction changes.
- Maintains and updates the employee's electronic documents.
- Payroll processing weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly.
- Updates payroll for FMLA, medical leaves, and workers' compensation.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent, one to three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge and experience with payroll systems and processing.
- Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific methods.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
- Proficient in document management, payroll systems, spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
- Good judgment and the ability to make timely, sound decisions.
- Ability to work with all levels of management.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
