We are currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to assist with a variety of tasks, to support several departments as needed. This is an entry level position, within the accounting department. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys working independently and is organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and open to cross-training within the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide reception back up for a high volume of phone calls, to include processing customer key orders
• Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks to maintain effective business operations
• Assist with Accounts Payable
• Provide support to the accounting department, or to other departments as needed
• Maintain customer and employee confidential information
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned

Knowledge and Skills Preferred:

• This position must be able to take initiative, be proactive, be able to maintain confidentiality, and be able to work as a team member and autonomously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic Accounting knowledge
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Comfortable interacting with customers
