Entomo Brands is building a Best Place to Work across six pest control companies and 20 branches from New Jersey to Georgia. We want every technician, customer care rep, and branch leader to feel known, coached, and set up to grow.

As our HR Director for PestNow, you will make that real across the Mid-Atlantic. You will spend most of your week in our branches, getting ahead of problems before they become complaints, coaching leaders, and championing Entomo Academy, our training and development program. You will report to the VP of People and have a real voice in how we grow our people. You will not do it alone: our central office in Charleston, SC supports you with payroll, benefits, recruiting, training, and HR systems.

What You Will Do

Be the coach leaders call first

• Build trust with leaders, technicians, and office teams through regular branch visits.
• Coach branch managers, sales leaders, and executives on how they lead and hold people accountable.
• Spot people issues early and help leaders fix them before they grow.

Get ahead of employee relations

• Handle employee concerns and investigations in your region with fairness and speed.
• Follow up after a concern is raised, so employees know they were heard and protected.
• Guide leaders through hard decisions, including terminations and workforce changes.

Champion Entomo Academy in the field

• Teach Manager Essentials and leadership sessions, and coach leaders to use what they learn.
• Get branch and service managers to buy in, so branches own training with us.
• Bring field feedback to the training team to make the Academy better.

Hire and keep great people

• Partner with recruiting to hire branch leaders and hard to fill roles.
• Check in with new hires during their first 90 days.
• Run talent reviews and build succession and retention plans for key people.

Make Best Place to Work real

• Listen through branch visits, stay interviews, and surveys, then turn feedback into action.
• Close the loop on what employees raise, so they see we listened.
• Roll out policies so they are clear, consistent, and fair at every branch.

What Success Looks Like

First 90 days: visit every branch and meet each leader one on one, set a regular visit and check in rhythm, and take ownership of open employee concerns in the region.

First year:

• Leaders call you early, before small problems grow.
• First year turnover goes down in the region.
• Entomo Academy is running in every branch you support, with strong manager participation.
• Engagement scores rise in every branch you support.

Who You Are

Required

• At least 5 years of HR leadership experience, ideally at the director level, supporting multiple locations.
• A proven coach to managers and executives.
• Strong employee relations judgment: you address issues head on, early, and fairly.
• Working knowledge of federal and multi state employment law, including Maryland and Virginia.
• Bachelor's degree or equal experience.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and comfort traveling 50% to 75%.

Strongly preferred

• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, or PHR or SPHR from HRCI.
• Experience in a multi-site field service business such as pest control, lawn care, HVAC, or home services.
• Experience teaching leadership training or integrating newly acquired teams.
• HRIS experience – preferably ADP Workforce Now

You will thrive here if you would rather be in a branch than behind a desk, you act on problems without waiting to be asked, and you give direct, kind feedback.
