Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations Clerk to join our team at Fruehauf Inc. The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate the pickup of trailers from customers, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Trailer Pickup:

o Schedule and confirm trailer pickups with customers.

o Maintain accurate records of scheduled pickups and deliveries.

o Communicate with transportation teams to ensure timely pickups.

• Customer Communication:

o Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding pickup inquiries.

o Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and concerns promptly.

o Follow up with customers post-pickup to ensure satisfaction.

• Administrative Support:

o Maintain organized files and documentation related to trailer pickups.

o Assist in processing orders and invoices related to customer transactions.

o Perform data entry tasks and update company databases as needed.

• Team Collaboration:

o Work closely with production and logistics teams to coordinate schedules and inventory.

o Assist in identifying areas for process improvement within the pickup coordination workflow.

• General Office Duties:

o Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.

o Support office operations with filing, copying, and other clerical tasks.

o Assist with special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office administration is a plus.

• Previous experience in an office or clerical role, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry.
