The Opportunity

As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at ERM, you’ll play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients in their most critical moments. Whether you’re responding to emergencies or collaborating with other first responders, you’ll make a tangible impact on the communities we serve.

Responsibilities
As part of our exceptional team, you will:

• Respond to emergency calls promptly and professionally as directed by dispatch.

• Safely load and transport patients to and from medical facilities.

• Deliver basic life support using advanced medical equipment and training.

• Work collaboratively with medical staff, firefighters, and fellow EMTs to provide outstanding patient care.

• Maintain a clean and organized emergency vehicle, ensuring all medical equipment is ready for use.

• Stay current with federal, state, and local laws, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.

• Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• EMT Certification in Connecticut.

• BLS CPR Certification.

• NIMS 100, 200, 700

• EVOC/CEVO certification or equivalent

• 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license.

• A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively in an unsupervised environment.

• Strong decision-making skills and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
