The Opportunity

As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at ERM, you’ll play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients in their most critical moments. Whether you’re responding to emergencies or collaborating with other first responders, you’ll make a tangible impact on the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
As part of our exceptional team, you will:
Respond to emergency calls promptly and professionally as directed by dispatch.
Safely load and transport patients to and from medical facilities.
Deliver basic life support using advanced medical equipment and training.
Work collaboratively with medical staff, firefighters, and fellow EMTs to provide outstanding patient care.
Maintain a clean and organized emergency vehicle, ensuring all medical equipment is ready for use.
Stay current with federal, state, and local laws, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
EMT Certification in Connecticut.
BLS CPR Certification.
NIMS 100, 200, 700
EVOC/CEVO certification or equivalent
21 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively in an unsupervised environment.
Strong decision-making skills and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
