About the role

The Medical Assistant supports clinical operations by ensuring that every patient encounter is executed with precision, care, and efficiency — bridging the gap between patient experience and clinical quality. he MA owns the quality of pre-visit readiness, encounter flow, documentation accuracy, and post-visit follow-through.

What you'll do

  • Prepare rooms, supplies, and equipment for patient visits.
  • Greet and room patients; record vitals and histories accurately in the EHR.
  • Assist providers during exams and procedures.
  • Collect and process specimens; handle vaccines and medications per protocol.
  • Maintain stock, organize supplies, and ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Keep documentation accurate and complete before each visit is closed.
  • Support smooth patient flow and communicate delays or issues quickly.
  • Coordinate with front desk and providers to ensure a seamless visit.
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and privacy standards.
  • Contribute to a calm, professional, and team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient or clinical setting.
  • Proven skill with EHR documentation and maintaining accuracy in fast-paced environments.
  • Confidence supporting providers during exams, procedures, and patient interactions.
  • Calm under pressure, focused on patient care.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; you anticipate needs and keep things moving.
  • Reliability and accountability.
  • Curiosity to improve processes and make each day run smoother.
  • Active MA certification or equivalent clinical training required.
