Job Description

Marketing Director (Buyer)

Analyze consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends
Regularly review performance indicators to ensure optimal skills are represented
Regularly review margins to ensure products are set at appropriate levels
Manage planograms and stock levels in stores to ensure proper product and contract terms are met
Facilitate in store displays and ensure stores have necessary product and branding in timely fashion
Meet and negotiate with existing suppliers and source new suppliers for future products, pricing, promotions, and slotting payments
Meet with other department heads to ensure implementation of programs
Regularly analyze sales data
Maintain company loyalty program by analyzing promotional activity and setting new promotions
Develop promotional activities in conjunction with suppliers to meet sales goals
Prepare and submit detailed reports (revenues, forecasting, etc.)
Track vendor payments to ensure all contractual funds are collected
Responsible for all public facing materials including print, digit, and in-store media

Qualifications:

Strong Analytical Skills
Negotiating skills and ability to network with people
Team working skills
Excellent Communication skills
Numerical skills
Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
Travel up to 10% of the time.

Education:
Bachelors Degree required. Master's degree preferred.
