About This Position
Marketing Director (Buyer)
Bachelors Degree required. Master's degree preferred.
- Analyze consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends
- Regularly review performance indicators to ensure optimal skills are represented
- Regularly review margins to ensure products are set at appropriate levels
- Manage planograms and stock levels in stores to ensure proper product and contract terms are met
- Facilitate in store displays and ensure stores have necessary product and branding in timely fashion
- Meet and negotiate with existing suppliers and source new suppliers for future products, pricing, promotions, and slotting payments
- Meet with other department heads to ensure implementation of programs
- Regularly analyze sales data
- Maintain company loyalty program by analyzing promotional activity and setting new promotions
- Develop promotional activities in conjunction with suppliers to meet sales goals
- Prepare and submit detailed reports (revenues, forecasting, etc.)
- Track vendor payments to ensure all contractual funds are collected
- Responsible for all public facing materials including print, digit, and in-store media
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Negotiating skills and ability to network with people
- Team working skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Numerical skills
- Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
- Travel up to 10% of the time.
Bachelors Degree required. Master's degree preferred.
