About This Position

This role is based in Franktown, Colorado with relocation assistance available.

- Lead and mentor the HR management team across all functional areas.
- Serve as the primary lead for our HRIS (UKG)
- Manage and oversee the operations of the payroll department, providing leadership and guidance to the Payroll Manager.
- Guides to resolve complex employee relations issues. Identifies and consults with the corporate office on matters of legal importance.
- Ensure compliance with employment law, insurance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with executive leadership to shape long-term HR strategy.
- Develop, implement, and manage company-wide HR policies and procedures.
- Serve as primary contact for benefit providers/programs.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Hire, direct activities, set expectations, evaluate, and provide performance-related feedback for all Human Resource team members as needed.
Some of what we are looking for:
- 15+ years’ in HR, with 7+ years at a leadership role
- High level HRIS System management & development. UKG experience strongly preferred.
- SPHR or PHR Certification preferred.
- Expert-level written, verbal, and in-person communication skills.
- Expert-level analytical skills.
- Expert-level technical HR proficiency, demonstrating a deep understanding of;
> Legal compliance and the resulting intersection with employment practices (i.e: federal and state-specific employment laws and regulations, related compliance requirements, common and significant areas of legal exposure)
> Employee relations, compensation, performance management, leave administration
- Expert-level analytical and resource-management skills, actively demonstrating how to:
> Understand, evaluate, and gain new insights from data analysis and reporting.
> Analyze information, build, and implement responsive action items and solutions.
> Stay organized, precise, and accurate despite a high volume of assignments, emails, and distractions.
> Prioritize and adapt rapidly to changes in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, ensuring smooth workflow despite interruptions, changes, and delays
- Intermediate-level systems proficiency, actively demonstrating how to learn, understand, and use new systems quickly and effectively (i.e: HRIS, LMS, ATS, etc.)
