About This Position
Are you a visionary clinical leader who can elevate care quality, drive innovation, and lead multi-site healthcare operations at scale?
We’re seeking a Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to provide executive leadership over clinical operations across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, advancing evidence-based practices, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving clinical strategy that improves outcomes and operational performance.
What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic direction and executive leadership for all clinical services, ensuring alignment with organizational mission and goals.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and standardization of clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Lead and support the recruitment, development, and performance of clinical teams across multiple sites.
- Partner with operational and executive leadership to integrate clinical services with broader organizational strategies.
- Monitor and analyze clinical performance data to identify trends, improve outcomes, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage clinical department budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and alignment with financial objectives.
- Champion innovation by implementing new clinical practices, technologies, and care delivery models.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and clinical standards at the state and federal levels.
- Represent the clinical function in executive leadership discussions, strategic planning, and external engagements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, patient-centered care, and clinical excellence.
What We’re Looking For
Education
- MD (Doctor of Medicine) from an accredited institution (required)
- Board certification in psychiatry (strongly preferred)
Experience
- Fifteen (15) years of clinical experience, preferably in behavioral health or healthcare (required)
- Five (5) years of healthcare leadership or management experience (required)
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site clinical operations, strategic planning, and implementing innovative clinical practices (required)
Licenses & Certifications
- Active unrestricted license in relevant clinical discipline (required)
