About This Position
Senior Vice President of Corporate Development Driving Strategic Growth Through Acquisitions
As the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, youll be the architect of the companys growth strategyleading all aspects of mergers and acquisitions to expand our footprint in behavioral healthcare. With a sharp eye for opportunity and a disciplined approach to deal execution, youll drive geographic and service line diversification that aligns with board-level goals and fuels long-term value creation.

Youll lead sourcing, valuation, negotiation, and execution of acquisitions, while collaborating closely with executive leadership, investors, and integration teams to ensure strategic alignment and post-close success.

What Youll Do
- Lead Full Acquisition Lifecycle Oversee sourcing, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and execution of M&A transactions.
- Build and Manage Target Pipeline Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of strategic and tuck-in acquisition opportunities in behavioral health and healthcare services.
- Drive Financial Analysis and Risk Assessment Conduct financial modeling, ROI analysis, and risk evaluation aligned with board and investment criteria.
- Oversee Cross-Functional Due Diligence Manage operational, financial, clinical, and compliance due diligence with internal teams and external advisors.
- Negotiate and Present Deals to Leadership Structure and negotiate deal terms in partnership with the CEO and board; present opportunities and strategic fit to senior leadership.
What Were Looking For
Education & Training
- Bachelors degree in human services, finance, business administration or related field (required)
- Masters of Business Administration (preferred)
Experience
- At least ten (10) years of progressive experience in M&A, private equity, investment banking, or corporate development, with a strong track record in healthcare services (required)
- Demonstrated success in executing add-on acquisitions, particularly in founder-led or fragmented markets (required)
- Strong financial acumen, with understanding of valuation, deal structuring, and capital deployment (required)
- Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, reimbursement, and operational dynamics (required)
- Behavioral health experience, including knowledge of clinical models, licensure, payor landscapes, and regulatory issues (preferred)
- Experience sourcing and closing acquisitions with annual revenues of $25 M and greater (preferred)
