Job Description

Director, Sales Enablement

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Sales Enablement based in United States.

As Director, Sales Enablement, you will own the systems, programs, and practices that turn sales talent into measurable revenue outcomes.
This is a highly hands-on player-coach role focused on accelerating ramp time, improving win rates, and raising sales productivity.
You will build practical enablement programs around live selling, call coaching, certifications, product fluency, and competitive execution.
AI will be central to how you scale coaching, personalize content, analyze calls, and equip more than 30 sales representatives efficiently.
You will work closely with sales leadership, solution consulting, and product teams to connect enablement priorities directly to business performance.
The role offers significant autonomy in a fast-moving environment where you will diagnose gaps, build solutions, and measure whether they actually work.
Your impact will be visible in how quickly new representatives become productive and how effectively the broader sales organization converts opportunities into wins.

Accountabilities:
  • Own sales enablement strategy and execution with a clear focus on measurable business outcomes, including ramp time, certification, win rates, and activity quality.
  • Build and continuously improve onboarding programs designed around real pipeline, customer conversations, recorded calls, and hands-on selling rather than passive training.
  • Own time-to-first-deal for new Account Executives and develop tiered certification programs covering trade-show fluency, product demos, and full-suite selling.
  • Establish evaluated practice and certification standards that demonstrate genuine sales readiness rather than simple course completion.
  • Build AI-powered coaching workflows using call analysis, content personalization, rep self-service, and existing go-to-market technologies.
  • Create recurring coaching loops that identify deal risks, discovery gaps, demo quality issues, and talk-track opportunities for representatives and sales leaders.
  • Develop reusable AI assistants for objection handling, battlecards, discovery preparation, account research, and other high-value sales workflows.
  • Build product and competitive fluency across the sales organization so representatives can confidently communicate the full product portfolio and identify opportunities to land and expand.
  • Audit existing sales collateral, retaining high-performing assets while rebuilding or retiring materials that do not support adoption or conversion.
  • Establish a reliable single source of truth for decks, pricing materials, battlecards, and other sales resources, with clear ownership and maintenance standards.
  • Evaluate the sales technology stack and ensure each tool has an accountable owner, adoption target, and measurable connection to a sales outcome.
  • Partner with sales leadership in weekly and monthly business reviews to identify coaching priorities and improve the effectiveness of regional sales leaders.
  • Collaborate with Solution Consulting and Product teams on demo standards, sandbox usage, new-feature enablement, and product launches that translate quickly into pipeline.
  • Diagnose gaps across content, tools, processes, and management practices, then lead practical improvements that strengthen sales execution.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, sales enablement, sales engineering, sales management, or a related field, including at least 3 years owning sales enablement outcomes.
  • Demonstrated track record of measurable impact, such as reducing ramp time, improving win rates, or creating certification programs that materially changed sales behavior.
  • Hands-on experience with Gong or comparable conversation-intelligence platforms, modern outbound tools, LMS platforms, and CRM workflows.
  • Strong working knowledge of AI-powered sales enablement, including building custom AI assistants, automating call analysis, personalizing content, and applying AI to coaching workflows.
  • Strong field credibility, ideally supported by experience as a high-performing Account Executive, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, or similar customer-facing sales professional.
  • Experience selling into public safety, healthcare, government technology, regulated markets, or other complex verticals is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of product positioning, competitive selling, discovery, demo execution, objection handling, and sales methodology.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect enablement activities to measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to coach representatives and influence senior sales stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity, building programs from the ground up, and delivering results without relying on fully established processes or infrastructure.
  • Highly proactive and willing to challenge existing content, tools, processes, and management practices when they are not producing the desired outcomes.
  • Strong organizational and project-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining a clear focus on revenue impact.
  • Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary of approximately $175,000, with compensation potentially varying based on relevant experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Fully remote work environment within the United States.
  • Minimal travel expectations.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Technology stipend.
  • Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.
  • Supportive, inclusive workplace focused on respect, collaboration, diversity, and equal opportunity.
  • Reasonable accommodations available throughout the interview and employment process.
