Summary

The Human Resources Services Director (HRSD) is responsible for oversight of all Human Resources functions (including Employee Relations, Performance, Talent, Workforce Initiatives, etc.). The HRSD will be responsible to partner with leadership and lead the HR Services team to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of HR programs and services. The HRSD will be responsible for the evaluating process, programs and talent to develop and implement solutions that maximize the effectiveness of the HR Services Team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the consistent and unbiased application of various HR processes and programs and their alignment with organizational needs and business priorities.
  • Lead employee relation strategies to achieve high level of employee performance, to include policy, investigations, discipline review, performance improvement plans, and guidance to leaders. Identify root cause to issues and implement systemic solutions.
  • Lead the management of HR programs and processes, including Unemployment, FMLA, Leaves of absence and accommodations, background checks, and drug testing.
  • Present, lead, and deploy proactive strategies to drive engagement, talent acquisition and development, organizational effectiveness, organizational design and continuous improvement outcomes while maintaining consistent and unbiased approaches.
  • Assist in developing and delivering comp & benefits strategy, to include pay structure, incentive plans, merit process, and total benefit plan design. Conduct benchmarking and pay equity studies.
  • Oversee, analyze collected data, and present data to the Director of Administrative Surveys monthly that identifies trends that inform retention efforts, coaching needs, etc.
  • Diagnosing complex issues and develop, recommend, and implement root cause solutions to enhance employee engagement and experience. Use metrics/analytics to drive performance and people decisions regarding employee acquisition, engagement, development, and retention.
  • Assist in developing and delivering L&D platform, performance management, talent calibration and succession planning with a focus on ensuring that training is completed with leadership within the organization.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements via the HRIS (Rippling) that enhance HR Process efficiency and employee experience. Provide insightful data to guide decision making and offer proactive solutions.
  • Lead compliance efforts to include Employee Handbook, policy and/or procedure updates, and auditing to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal laws/guidelines.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with leadership and employees and provide advice and counsel to both on employee-related matters.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervision Given:

The Human Resources Services Director will supervise the Human Resources Services Partners.

Supervision Received:

The Human Resources Services Director reports to the Director of Administrative Services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.
  • 5+ Years Leadership HR experience within a Behavioral Health setting.

Certification

  • HR Certifications (SHRM‑SCP, SPHR, SHRM, PHR) highly beneficial or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire

Experience

  • Experience in talent management, performance management, compensation, and employee relations
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with ability to derive insights from HR Data
  • Preparation and delivery of reporting data to senior leadership
  • Excellent consulting and relationship building capabilities at all levels
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple complex initiatives
  • Experience advising and developing leaders
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations

Physical Effort:

Primarily requires sitting at a desk for extensive period of time while working on the computer.

Background:

All applicants must submit to and pass a background check prior to hiring.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (Flexibility with hours)

Work Location:

Must be able to work in office. (Multiple City and State opportunity)

The pay range for this role is:
85,000 - 95,000 USD per year(ALL)
