The ideal candidate is approachable and professional while also being consistent, objective, highly confidential, and comfortable addressing difficult employee situations when necessary. The HR Coordinator will support the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, attendance, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, training, documentation, and compliance. Monitor changes in federal and Arizona employment requirements and assist management in maintaining compliant HR practices. Maintain appropriate separation between confidential HR information and general workplace communications. Provide management with timely information regarding significant attendance, employee-relations, compliance, or personnel matters. Prepare HR reports and metrics as requested by management. Promote a professional, respectful, productive, and accountable workplace. Perform other HR-related duties as needed. Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on Human Resources experience strongly preferred, particularly in an HR Coordinator, HR Generalist, HR Manager, or similar role. Practical HR experience and demonstrated ability are valued more highly than a specific degree. Strong working knowledge of employee relations, attendance administration, performance management, workplace investigations, disciplinary procedures, and employment documentation. Working knowledge of applicable federal and Arizona employment laws and regulations. Experience with payroll, timekeeping, HRIS, or workforce-management systems; Paychex experience is a plus. Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, food, dietary supplement, or similar operational environment is strongly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive employee and company information with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality. Ability to remain objective and professional when handling employee complaints, disciplinary matters, investigations, and workplace conflicts. Comfortable communicating with employees, supervisors, and senior management. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and follow matters through to completion. Strong judgment, reliability, initiative, and personal accountability. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent professional HR experience will be fully considered in place of formal education. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar professional certification is a plus but not required. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who views Human Resources as both an employee resource and a business responsibility. The successful candidate should be approachable and willing to listen to employees while also understanding the importance of company policies, management communication, proper documentation, confidentiality, consistency, and accountability. This position requires someone who does not simply identify HR issues, but follows through, communicates appropriately, maintains accurate documentation, and works with management toward practical and compliant solutions. If you are an experienced, hands-on HR professional who enjoys working closely with employees and management and wants to make a meaningful contribution to an established manufacturing organization, we would like to hear from you.
