Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee daily production operations, ensuring alignment with efficiency targets and cost objectives
• Coordinate closely with scheduling, procurement, maintenance, and quality teams to optimize production output and resource utilization
• Analyze production metrics (e.g., OEE, downtime) to identify root causes of inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
• Prepare and deliver production and performance reports as required
• Partner with supply chain leadership to develop and implement standard operating procedures that improve product quality and operational performance
• Adjust production schedules and priorities in response to equipment issues or operational challenges
• Supervise and guide plant leadership teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Oversee maintenance and support the upkeep of presses and related machinery
• Foster strong collaboration with hourly workforce to drive productivity and continuous improvement initiatives
• Actively participate in the Health and Safety Committee to promote a safe work environment
• Enforce safety, environmental, and compliance programs across the department
• Support Human Resources with recruitment efforts and employee training initiatives
• Drive achievement of key production KPIs and champion continuous improvement efforts across the organization
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence
• Ensure compliance with all product safety, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in the folding carton industry is a plus
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to assign, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Flexible and adaptable with a proactive approach to change and continuous improvement initiatives
