Pay Rate: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 depending on experience
Reports To: Associate Director of PET Operations

Job Overview:
The PET Facility Manager will play an essential role in leading PET site operations in routine manufacturing of PET radiopharmaceuticals. The position will oversee and train PET staff in the production of radiopharmaceuticals in addition to providing site leadership to meet company goals and leading a customer focused business.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee and trains PET staff in the production of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Operates a PET facility that meets FDA cGMP, NRC or agreement state radiation safety, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manages and helps coordinate production schedules to meet customer orders.
- Trained and qualified in all aspects of PET production, and able to assist with PET production where required.
- Hire, train, develop and manage the performance of PET staff.
- Oversees inventory management, facility maintenance, equipment maintenance, and calibration.
- Works in conjunction with PharmaLogic nuclear pharmacies to meet customer demands.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements │ Skills │ Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Physics, Nuclear Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- Master’s or PhD degree in Chemistry, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Physics, Nuclear Engineering or relate field preferred.
- Familiarity with a GMP manufacturing environment and working with FDA and FDA cGMP regulations required. Knowledge of molecular imaging techniques and pharmaceutical study design and execution desired.
- Experience managing teams in a matrixed organization. Supervisory experience preferred. • Experience with HPLC, radiochemistry synthesis, US FDA cGMP, Radiation Safety Principles, Isotopes production and analytical equipment troubleshooting and maintenance a plus.
- Superior teamwork, multi-tasking and time/project management skills. • Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving, presentation and computer/pc skills (including proficiency in Microsoft Suit and related software).
- Ability to work varying shifts and travel up to 50%.
Physical and Intellectual Requirements:
Manual dexterity for manipulating small items; regularly lift at least 50 pounds throughout each shift and to be able to lift 75 pounds on occasion. Able to handle standing, walking and sitting for 4+ hours with limited rest intervals; good eye-hand coordination; fair eyesight (with or without correction lenses); normal hearing in at least one ear (hearing range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz); ability to analyze situations, set priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; effective organizational skills; a commitment to continuous learning; an ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
