Position Description:
- Position: Fulltime, In-Office, Salary
- Reports Directly to Service Manager
- Supervising: Customer Interaction, Communicating with the Technician Team, Service Coordinator/Dispatch
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, controlling, and directing activities of operational resources. Ultimately, this individual will coordinate the execution of service agreements and repair work. This includes procuring the appropriate labor and materials for work completion within financial standards. Customer interaction, communicating with the Field Technicians, and coordinating job priorities with Service Manager will be an everyday occurrence.
Primary Duties:
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Scheduling and coordinating regular inspections, filter changes, and tune-ups to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Holds QuesTec Standard of performance of work and scope of work by contract.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Special Projects to improve efficiency as assigned by Service Manager
- Technical support and training to HVAC technicians
- Coordinates service resources, dispatches and assigns team members to PM and Spot extra.
- Schedules personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on PM and Spot Extra needs, skill sets, and availability.
- Interacts and communicates with all Dispatcher(s) and HVAC Field Technician Supervisor(s) to assign/dispatch HVAC Technicians/Installers
- Coordinates operations interaction with the Sales, as necessary.
- Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the Service Manager, and responding to special requests.
- APR Management and Gross Profit management
- Backup to Dispatcher as required
- Backup to Service Manager as required
Position Requirements:
- Certificate/degree from college or technical school with three (3) years related experience and/or training; or minimum of five (5) years of related experience and/or training with HS Diploma/GED.
- 3 years of related office experience also preferred
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills - need to be extremely comfortable and effective on the phone.
- Must be organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily interruptions.
- Strong attention to detail and enjoy working in fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
- Familiarity with operation, repair, and replacement of HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls required
- HVAC Journeyman’s license preferred
- HVAC Masters license recommended
