Job Description
Position Description:
Our family-friendly apartment community is looking for a highly energetic, charismatic and sales driven leasing consultant to join our team. We offer a competitive wage with a bonus program recognizing exceptional performance along with a comprehensive benefits package. Previous experience and Bilingual a must!
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensure the resident experience is a positive one through building community and creating excitement with new prospects and existing residents alike
- Ability to take phone calls, screen prospective residents and schedule tour visits
- Greet prospects, complete guest cards and sell the amenities of the community
- Process the necessary paperwork for new prospects and resident renewals and collect deposits as required to lease an apartment
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of lease terms, specifications, screening procedures and community policies
- Excellent customer service and sales techniques both over the phone and in person
- Ensure that the model and leasable units are ready to be shown each morning
- Conducting out-reach marketing at least once a week.
- Prepare maintenance requests for residents
- Perform any other duties as directed by Management
Qualifications
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and professional appearance
- Ability to handle stressful, urgent and diverse situations on a daily basis
- Prior experience in leasing or sales
- Experience with Real Page multi-family software experience is a plus
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bilingual a must
- Reliable transportation
