This role sits at the intersection of product, data science, and experimentation, with a direct mandate to shape how data drives product decisions in a high-growth SaaS environment. You will be the first dedicated data scientist embedded within a product analytics function, setting the foundation for experimentation rigor and ML-driven decision-making across the organization. Your work will directly influence product adoption, retention, and user experience across a platform used by thousands of industrial customers globally. The role combines hands-on modeling, experimentation design, and strategic storytelling for senior stakeholders. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to translate complex behavioral data into actionable product strategy. This is a highly visible role where your insights will shape roadmap priorities and core product evolution. It is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building scalable analytics practices from the ground up.

• Lead the design and execution of product experimentation programs, including A/B testing and causal inference, to identify opportunities that improve activation, retention, and engagement.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models such as gradient boosting machines, random forests, and logistic regression to generate actionable product insights and predictions.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to translate business challenges into structured data problems and analytical solutions.
• Communicate findings, model outputs, and experiment results through clear, compelling narratives tailored to executive and stakeholder audiences.
• Establish best practices for experimentation design, statistical rigor, and ML workflows to scale data science impact across the organization.
• Continuously refine data pipelines and analytical frameworks to support reliable, scalable, and repeatable insights generation.

• 5–7 years of experience as a Product Data Scientist or Senior Data Scientist in a SaaS environment.
• Strong expertise in product experimentation, including A/B testing, statistical significance, and causal inference methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python with hands-on experience using libraries such as scikit-learn and MLflow.
• Proven ability to build and deploy machine learning models, including tree-based models and regression techniques.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with Product, Engineering, and Design stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytical results into clear business recommendations for executive audiences.
• Experience with large-scale product or behavioral datasets and a strong analytical mindset.
