Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Customer Insights Analyst based in Canada.
This role sits at the intersection of customer experience, data analytics, and strategic decision-making. You will transform complex and often fragmented customer signals into clear, actionable insights that shape product direction, CX strategy, and operational improvements. Working across support data, product behavior, and voice-of-customer inputs, you will help identify friction points, emerging opportunities, and systemic issues across the customer journey. You will operate as a trusted analytical partner to senior leadership, translating ambiguity into structured insight and business recommendations. This is a high-impact role where your work directly influences how customers experience care and how internal teams prioritize improvements. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Operations teams in a fast-paced, data-driven environment focused on meaningful outcomes.
- Analyze and synthesize data across customer support, product usage, operational workflows, and voice-of-customer sources to generate actionable insights.
- Identify systemic issues, risks, and growth opportunities across the end-to-end customer and patient journey.
- Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches, delivering clear findings and strategic recommendations.
- Build executive-level narratives that connect customer experience, root causes, business impact, and trade-offs.
- Develop and evolve voice-of-customer capabilities into a strategic function that informs CX, product, and operational decisions.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Support, and Operations teams to ensure insights drive real business action.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in analytics or customer insights roles, with a strong ability to influence decisions through data storytelling and structured thinking. You should be highly skilled in SQL and comfortable working with modern cloud data warehouses, as well as interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data sources. Strong business judgment, communication skills, and autonomy are essential, especially in environments with complex or incomplete data.
- 8+ years of experience in customer insights, product analytics, business intelligence, or data strategy
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
- Proven ability to turn data into business decisions and strategic recommendations
- Experience combining qualitative and quantitative data to uncover root causes and patterns
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and define analytical priorities, not just execute requests
- Experience in SaaS, healthcare tech, marketplaces, or digital products is a strong plus
- Competitive base salary range of $90,000 to $115,000 CAD
- Remote-first flexibility with preference for Ottawa, Toronto, or Calgary
- Flexible PTO and strong work-life balance support
- RRSP/401k matching and equity/stock options
- Comprehensive benefits package including health, paramedical coverage, and HSA
- Employee discounts on wellness and healthcare products
- Continuous learning and professional development opportunities
