This role is a strategic HR leadership opportunity focused on shaping and executing people strategies that directly support high-growth, revenue-generating business functions.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, partnering closely with GTM and underwriting teams to strengthen performance, engagement, and talent outcomes.
The position plays a key role in aligning organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development with broader business objectives.
You will drive initiatives that enhance employee experience, support retention, and build scalable people processes in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
The role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, particularly in high-volume, results-oriented teams.

- Partner with senior leadership to design and implement people strategies that support business growth and high-performance culture within GTM and underwriting teams.
- Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning to ensure teams are structured for scalability and success.
- Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback cycles, and development planning to enhance team effectiveness.
- Support talent acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies for high-volume, performance-based environments.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, addressing employee relations issues and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Identify learning and development needs and collaborate with talent enablement teams to build relevant programs.
- Guide organizational change initiatives, ensuring clear communication and smooth transitions across teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, including at least 3+ years supporting GTM or commercial functions.
- Experience working in high-volume, performance-driven environments such as sales, underwriting, customer support, or collections.
- Strong knowledge of performance-based incentive structures and workforce management practices.
- Experience supporting organizations with 400–500+ employees in a global or distributed environment.
- Strong understanding of Canadian and US employment laws and HR compliance practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities with a people-first mindset.
- Experience with HR tools such as Lattice, Rippling, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, remote-first, and evolving environments.
