This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Development Representative based in United States.

This role is a key part of the sales organization, focused on generating qualified opportunities and helping accelerate revenue growth. You will research prospects, understand their needs, engage decision-makers, and turn inbound interest into high-quality sales meetings. Working closely with marketing and Account Executives, you will help build a strong and predictable sales pipeline across independent healthcare practices. The role combines prospect research, consultative communication, qualification, objection handling, and sales development in a structured training environment. You will continuously develop your sales skills while learning how to communicate customer value effectively. With strong performance and coaching, the position offers an opportunity to build a long-term career in sales.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage inbound leads generated through multiple marketing channels, responding to prospects and booking qualified product demonstrations for Account Executives.
  • Research prospects, identify their challenges and priorities, and engage decision-makers through effective outreach and discovery.
  • Set high-quality meetings with healthcare practices across the United States to contribute directly to pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand inbound lead sources, campaigns, content engagement, and prospect behavior.
  • Follow up with recycled leads from marketing campaigns while also developing self-generated prospecting opportunities.
  • Build rapport with prospects, ask thoughtful questions, qualify opportunities, and identify customer needs.
  • Clearly communicate product value by connecting relevant benefits to prospect pain points and using available content effectively.
  • Develop strong sales-development skills through structured training, coaching, and hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrate consistent performance against activity and meeting targets, with advancement opportunities based on sustained results.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader sales organization to ensure qualified opportunities are effectively transitioned for further development.

Requirements:

  • Strong listening skills with genuine curiosity and the ability to understand customer needs and ask insightful questions.
  • Empathetic approach to prospect conversations, with the ability to understand situations from the customer's perspective.
  • Passion for helping customers achieve better outcomes and solving problems through thoughtful communication.
  • Interest in building or accelerating a career in sales, with motivation to grow within the organization.
  • Demonstrated initiative, competitive drive, and determination to achieve goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Resilience, perseverance, and the ability to handle objections and remain effective through challenging conversations.
  • Coachable, intelligent, curious, and motivated approach to learning new sales techniques and processes.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment is advantageous.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively while maintaining personal accountability for results.

Benefits:

  • $57,000–$65,000 USD annual salary for the Zone 1 national-average pay band.
  • Variable pay opportunities for eligible employees.
  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Flexible working environment with a remote setup.
  • 401(k) plan.
  • Flexible spending account.
  • Monthly wellness and support resources.
  • Access to Gympass fitness and wellness resources.
  • TELUS Employee Assistance Program and mental health resources.
  • Discount program for Dell work-from-home equipment.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and internal career advancement.
  • Structured training designed to develop sales skills and support long-term career progression.
