Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Field Marketing Manager (US Market) based in United States.
This is a high-impact opportunity to build and lead a US field marketing function from the ground up.
You’ll shape the market presence through executive experiences, industry events, roundtables, trade shows, and partner activations.
Working closely with Sales and Marketing, you’ll align programs with priority accounts, buying cycles, and pipeline objectives.
The role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring you to build structure where no established playbook exists.
You’ll own budgets, partnerships, measurement, and the complete event lifecycle from pre-event engagement through post-event conversion.
Success will be measured not simply by event quality, but by meaningful conversations, account progression, pipeline, and revenue impact.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded field marketer who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys building from 0 to 1.
- Build and execute a targeted portfolio of US field marketing programs, including executive dinners, roundtables, customer experiences, industry events, trade shows, and partner activations.
- Develop pre-event, on-site, and post-event engagement strategies designed to maximize attendance, customer engagement, sales follow-up, and commercial impact.
- Shape the US field marketing strategy by aligning program investments and priorities with sales objectives, target accounts, pipeline goals, and market opportunities.
- Partner closely with Sales on territory and account strategies to ensure field programs reach relevant audiences at the right stages of the buying journey.
- Establish repeatable processes, playbooks, and operating frameworks that transform successful initiatives into a scalable US field marketing engine.
- Own field marketing budgets and make commercially informed investment decisions, ensuring programs are evaluated against measurable outcomes.
- Integrate field marketing with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Content, and broader go-to-market initiatives to create connected campaigns and community experiences.
- Track sourced and influenced pipeline, engagement quality, account progression, and other performance indicators, using data and feedback to test, learn, and optimize.
- Develop relationships with industry organizations, event partners, vendors, venues, and strategic partners to expand reach and create co-marketing opportunities.
- Act as a key source of US market and customer insight, bringing feedback, trends, and competitive intelligence back to the broader marketing and go-to-market organization.
- Build the relationships, infrastructure, and vendor network required to execute US programs efficiently and consistently.
- Help establish field marketing as a strategic commercial lever and a meaningful contributor to US sales growth.
- 5+ years of B2B technology or SaaS field marketing experience, ideally supporting mid-market or enterprise customers.
- Proven experience building or establishing a US field marketing program, particularly within an international organization entering or expanding in the US market.
- Demonstrated ability to connect field marketing activity to quality conversations, pipeline generation, account progression, and revenue rather than focusing solely on event execution.
- Strong understanding of B2B buying cycles, account-based marketing, field programs, and sales-aligned marketing strategies.
- Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable executing campaigns and managing detailed operational requirements.
- Strong 0-to-1 mindset, with the ability to create structure, processes, and playbooks in environments with limited historical data or established frameworks.
- Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align Sales, Marketing, leadership, vendors, and external partners.
- Commercially minded and comfortable making investment decisions, prioritizing resources, and demonstrating program ROI.
- Data-driven and curious, with a habit of testing, measuring, learning, and adjusting based on results.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to quickly develop networks across vendors, venues, partners, industry communities, and prospects.
- Comfortable working autonomously, taking initiative, and proactively securing the information, decisions, and resources needed to move programs forward.
- Experience marketing to cybersecurity, risk, compliance, procurement, or other technical B2B audiences is a plus.
- Existing relationships with relevant US venues, industry communities, partners, or event vendors are advantageous.
- Experience with account-based marketing or account-based field programs is preferred.
- Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms is beneficial.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and commuting to a Chicago-based office.
- Salary: $130,000–$170,000 USD.
- Hybrid working model based in Chicago, with flexibility to work from home.
- Competitive base compensation package.
- 401(k) matching.
- US healthcare benefits.
- Opportunity to build a new US field marketing function from the ground up.
- High degree of autonomy and ownership over strategy, investment, execution, and optimization.
- Close partnership with Sales and central Marketing leadership.
- Opportunity to directly influence US go-to-market strategy and commercial growth.
- Exposure to customers, industry communities, strategic partners, and senior stakeholders.
- Fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on learning, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
- Opportunity to establish scalable processes and a lasting field marketing infrastructure.
