Job Description
We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager, Organic Growth & Website Experience to lead Wave’s organic acquisition engine and website optimization strategy.
As customer discovery evolved from traditional search to AI-search experiences, you’ll be responsible for ensuring Wave is visible, discoverable, and trusted wherever small business owners seek answers from Google Search and AI channels, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and emerging AI platforms.
You’ll own the execution and performance of SEO/AEO/GEO, website experience, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and organic growth initiatives that directly impact customer acquisition, activation, and revenue growth. Your mission is to drive sustainable growth by ensuring Wave becomes the most trusted and discoverable small business management platform across traditional and AI channels. This role sits at the intersection of growth marketing, website experience, analytics, and product-led growth. You'll partner closely with Product, Design, CS, Product Marketing, Content, and Analytics to turn Wave's website into a scalable growth engine.
This role is ideal for a growth-minded leader who combines deep expertise in SEO and website optimization with strong analytical skills, customer empathy, and a passion for experimentation.
Develop and execute organic growth initiatives across SEO, AI search, and owned digital experiences that increase qualified traffic, sign-ups, activation, and revenue.
Develop Wave's approach to Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
Monitor shifts in search and discovery behaviour, identifying opportunities to strengthen Wave’s visibility and market leadership.
Evaluate emerging channels, technologies, and AI platforms that influence how small business owners discover solutions.
Establish reporting and dashboards that provide clear visibility into performance and impact.
Own the website strategy, roadmap, and performance across Wave’s digital properties.
Ensure the website effectively delivers a best-in-class experience that supports acquisition, education, activation, and conversion.
Build and lead a robust experimentation program focused on improving conversion rates and customer journeys.
Partner with Product, Design, and Lifecycle Marketing teams to optimize key customer website flows.
Lead technical SEO, site architecture, structured data, and content optimization initiatives.
Build strategies that increase Wave's visibility, authority, and recommendation rates across traditional and AI search experiences.
Partner with Product Marketing and Content teams to create search-informed content that drives acquisition and engagement.
Continuously test and refine messaging, topics, and format based on data and audience insights.
8+ years of experience in SEO, organic growth, website optimization, or growth marketing.
Proven success growing acquisition, conversion, and revenue in a SaaS, fintech, or product-led growth environment.
Deep expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, website optimization, and CRO.
Strong understanding of AEO, GEO, AI search, and the future of digital discovery.
Experience with analytics, experimentation, and SEO platforms.
Strong analytical, strategic, and cross-functional leadership skill
3+ years of people leadership experience.

$114,500 - $129,000 a year
