This role is focused on shaping how a fast-growing SaaS organization communicates its value to the market through clear, consistent, and compelling messaging. You will play a central role in defining and refining how products and solutions are described across all marketing channels, ensuring alignment between brand voice, product reality, and customer needs. Working closely with marketing leadership, you will translate complex software capabilities into accessible, high-impact copy that drives engagement and conversion. The environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and content-rich, with a strong emphasis on speed, clarity, and iteration. You will contribute to a wide range of initiatives, from digital campaigns and website content to buyer education materials and product storytelling. This is a highly influential writing role where messaging directly shapes market perception and growth outcomes.
- Own the clarity, consistency, and quality of marketing messaging across all channels, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and product value.
- Develop a strong understanding of the product to ensure all copy accurately reflects real capabilities and use cases.
- Write and refine a wide range of marketing content including landing pages, website copy, ads, email campaigns, buyer guides, video scripts, and product marketing assets.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and customer-focused messaging.
- Adapt messaging for different buyer personas, levels of sophistication, and stages of the customer journey.
- Support multi-channel marketing initiatives including SEO-driven content, campaign assets, and digital promotions.
- Use AI tools to support research, ideation, and drafting while ensuring final copy meets high editorial standards.
- 1+ year of professional experience in marketing copywriting or content writing, ideally in a SaaS environment.
- Strong ability to simplify complex products or systems into clear, persuasive messaging.
- Excellent writing skills with a strong sense of tone, clarity, and audience alignment.
- Ability to write quickly while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
- Strong curiosity about buyer psychology and how messaging influences decision-making.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with frequent feedback and revisions.
- Experience using AI tools as part of modern content creation workflows is an asset.
- Familiarity with SEO principles, digital marketing channels, and campaign-based content is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and openness to collaboration and feedback.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to continuously improve writing craft and messaging strategy.
- Salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 CAD per year (based on experience)
